A pair of women's training shorts in a single deep purple, for training sessions where you want a stretchy short that stays out of the way. The fabric is a polyamide and elastane blend. Polyamide is the hard-wearing half of that pairing, holding its shape and drying off quickly after a warm session or a wash, while the elastane gives the shorts enough give to stretch with you rather than pull against you. Sizes run S, M, L and XL, so there is a proper spread to choose from. Stretch fabrics like this one are forgiving either side of a measurement, so if you are between sizes it is worth thinking about how you like your shorts to sit: take the smaller for a closer fit, the larger if you would rather they skim. They suit most of what happens in a gym, from lifting to classes to treadmill work and the stretching afterwards, and they are just as easy to wear for a walk or a warm afternoon at home. Wash them cool with similar colours and leave the fabric softener out, since it coats stretch fibres and dulls the way they spring back.
