Suede is an old-fashioned choice for lifting gloves and it has lasted for a reason. It has a dry, slightly rough surface that holds against a bar, and being a leather it wears in rather than falling apart. These are the women's pair, in pink or blue. They sit with the rest of our training kit as a barbell and dumbbell accessory. If your grip gives out on a heavy set of rows or deadlifts before your back does, or you would simply rather not build calluses, a glove is the simple fix. One thing to check first: the sizes stocked are S, L and XL. There is no medium at the moment. Gloves are less forgiving about fit than clothing is, so go by your usual glove size, and if you fall between two, remember that leather relaxes a little with wear. A snug S will loosen. A loose L will not tighten. Suede and washing machines do not get on. Let them dry out fully between sessions instead of leaving them at the bottom of a gym bag, brush dried chalk off with a dry brush or a cloth, and keep them away from radiators, which stiffen leather.
