At £13.99 this is among the cheapest tops we carry, and it does the plain job it exists for: something to train in when sleeves would only be in the way. Polyester is the whole of the fabric, which is the ordinary choice for a training vest and a sensible one. It holds very little water, so sweat passes through it and it dries quickly afterwards, whether that is on a hanger at home or in a bag on the way back. It also goes through the wash week after week without much complaint. One colourway is recorded, Orange Green, so expect the two shades together rather than a single flat colour. It makes a change if the drawer at home has gone mostly black. Three sizes: S, M and L, all of them in stock. Nothing larger is carried on this one at the moment, so an XL means looking at the other vests in Training Tops & Tanks instead. Gym sessions, classes, running in warm weather and throwing on over a swimsuit in summer are all within its remit. At this price it is the sort of thing to own two of, so there is always a clean one waiting. Care asks very little of you. A cool machine wash, and then keep it well away from a hot dryer, since heat is harder on polyester than any wash cycle is.
