The name is plain and so is the idea: a camouflage training trouser you can wear to the gym, out on a walk, or for a bit of work outdoors without thinking too hard about it. It is recorded in two colourways, a grey pattern and a green one. Nothing beyond the colour is set down on this line, so the photographs are what to judge the pattern on rather than any description we could give you. Worth checking before you order: the sizes stocked here are S, M, XL and XXL. There is no L at present, so if large is your usual size you are deciding between a closer M and a roomier XL. One size is also missing from one of the two colourways, so the run under the grey is not quite the run under the green, and the sizes showing against the colour you pick are the ones we have to send. At £21.99 these are an everyday trouser rather than a specialist one, and they tend to get worn for training and for jobs around the house rather than saved for best. The material is recorded only as camouflage, and that describes the pattern rather than the fibre, so there is no composition here to guide you at the wash. Keep it conservative and you will not go wrong. Cool water, similar colours, no fabric softener. Turn them inside out before they go in and the pattern keeps its depth of colour for longer. Leave the hot tumble dryer out of it; a line or an airer asks nothing of the fabric and costs you nothing either.
