Sofia

Sofia is the fuller-figured frame in the collection. The surround is deep enough to read as a piece of furniture in its own right, standing proud of the mattress on every side, and the headboard carries the same generous upholstery up to full height. The result is a bed with real weight to it — well suited to a larger room, or to a plain one that needs something substantial in the middle of it.

That extra width is worth noting when you plan the space. A Sofia measures considerably wider and longer than the mattress it holds, so the figures in the specifications, rather than the mattress size, are the ones to work to when you are pacing out the floor.

Each frame is upholstered by hand once your order is placed, in the fabric and colour you select. Hand-built pieces vary by a millimetre or two, so treat the dimensions as very close rather than absolute, and satisfy yourself the bed will make it up the stairs before it goes into production.
