Ruby is a divan in the traditional sense: a solid upholstered base carrying the mattress, finished with a headboard that does the talking. The standard board already stands well clear of the pillows, while the upgraded height suits rooms with high ceilings or a large expanse of plain wall behind the bed, where a shorter headboard can look stranded.

Base and headboard are upholstered in the same fabric and colour, chosen by you and cut only once the order is placed. Nothing is held in stock, so each Ruby leaves the workshop having been built for one bedroom and no other.

Widths and lengths for double, kingsize and superking are set out below. As with anything worked by hand, allow a few millimetres either way, and measure the route into the bedroom before ordering.
