A plain pair of men's compression leggings, offered in black or in a black and yellow combination. The first disappears under anything you put over it; the second gives you a bit of contrast if you would rather not be dressed entirely in black. The fabric is polyamide with spandex. Polyamide sits smoothly against the skin and dries quickly, and the spandex is what lets the fabric stretch as you move and pull back into shape afterwards, which is really the whole point of a compression bottom. Reduce to what the fibre supports: "They work worn on their own or under shorts, and the close fit means no loose fabric to get in the way." Sizing runs S, M, L, XL and XXL. Compression wear is supposed to feel snug, so resist the urge to size up for comfort, because a size too big stops doing the job you bought it for. If you are between sizes and you plan to wear them under something else, the smaller of the two is usually the better call. Not every size is carried in both colours, so check before you choose. Typical use is gym work, running, five-a-side and any session where loose fabric gets in the way. They are just as useful as a base layer on cold mornings, since a close-fitting synthetic layer under your usual kit takes up almost no room. Wash them cool with similar colours. Fabric softener is the one thing to avoid, as it clings to stretch fibres and leaves them feeling waxy over time. Skip the tumble dryer too, since heat is hard on stretch fabric and these dry quickly on a rail anyway. Vary one of them.
