Georgie Kids

Georgie is a calm bed for a room that rarely is. Upholstered rather than framed in wood or metal, it takes the hard edges out of a child's bedroom, and it carries colour well — receding into a pale scheme, or holding its own against a bold one, depending entirely on what you specify.

The headboard, 50 inches from the floor, gives a child something proper to lean against, which is what most of them do with a bed long before they lie down in it. And because Georgie is covered in the same cloths as the rest of our range, it can be tied to a curtain, a blind or a chair elsewhere in the room rather than left as the odd piece out.

It is built to order as a single or a small double and arrives with a Rio mattress in the same size. Each bed is made individually by hand, so no two finish at exactly the same measurement — worth allowing for when you plan the room.
