The Gel Advanced 2000 is the balanced one. Medium in feel, even in support, and designed to hold its temperature steady rather than climbing through the small hours.

Its core is a British-made air suspension 2000 pocket spring system. Air moves through the suspended spring layer as you change position, so the inside of the mattress does not sit on its own warmth, and each spring adjusts to the weight directly above it to keep the spine level however you lie. Above that, 60mm of gel infused breathable foam gives the surface its smoothness, the gel particles pulling heat away from the body rather than reflecting it back.

The mattress is fully encapsulated from edge to edge, which makes the perimeter as supportive as the middle. There is no roll-off feeling when you sit on the side to dress, and the full width stays usable, which counts for most on the smaller sizes. Individually pocketed springs also mean a partner turning over goes largely unnoticed.
