Two colourways, both in PU leather: one black with pink running through it, and one that mixes pink, black and white. Choosing between them is a matter of taste and nothing else, because the material and the sizes are the same either way. The reason for a lifting glove is the knurling on a bar. It is cut to grip and it grips a hand as readily as it grips steel, so the skin at the base of the fingers takes the brunt over a few months of training. A layer of PU leather in between spares you that. PU also wipes clean, which is more than can be said for a fabric-backed glove after a summer of training. Sizing wants a look before you order. Only L and XL are recorded, with no S or M on the list, so a smaller hand is better served by something else in the accessories. Of the two, a glove that shifts about is more nuisance than no glove at all, so if you are on the line, take the closer of them. Barbell work is where most of the wear will come from, though nothing about them objects to a rack of dumbbells or a set of pull-ups, and a retired pair usually ends up by the door for moving furniture. These are not machine washable, so keep them out of the load with the rest of your kit. What actually finishes a PU glove early is being put away damp and then crushed flat under everything else, which makes the ten seconds after training the part that matters: a damp cloth over the palms, then somewhere open and airy overnight before they go back in the bag.
