Off-white reads calmer than either — straightforward with a grey top, easy under an oversized sweatshirt, and not out of place on the walk to the gym or the shop after it. The fabric is polyamide with elastane. Polyamide sits smoothly against the skin and stands up to being worn and washed as often as leggings tend to be, and the elastane gives the stretch that lets them move and then come back to shape instead of bagging at the knee. It is the same fabric family as the compression bottoms in the range, so expect a close fit rather than a relaxed one. Pale fabric asks for a bit more attention than black does. Marks show sooner, so get them into the wash rather than leaving them at the bottom of a kit bag. Wash cool and either on their own or with other light colours, since off-white picks up dye from dark clothes readily. Fabric softener is best avoided on stretch fabric, and a hot tumble dry will do them no favours — reshape them while damp and hang them up.
